At Total Gut Health, I offer clinician-guided at-home hydrogen and methane breath testing using the OMED Health system.

The OMED breath testing pathway combines:

• at-home testing 
• doctor-reviewed diagnostic interpretation via OMED
• reusable breath analysis technology 
• simple repeat testing where clinically appropriate 

The test measures hydrogen and methane gases produced by gut microbes during fermentation. Elevated levels may provide additional insight into patterns of bacterial overgrowth or altered gut fermentation.

 The OMED Health system allows you to complete your breath test at home using a reusable handheld breath analyser and guided app-based instructions.

Your results are reviewed by OMED doctors, with reports accessible through the practitioner portal.

 The OMED breath testing pathway is increasingly being used within private healthcare and practitioner-led digestive health settings across the UK.

Where appropriate, repeat testing may be recommended approximately 8–12 weeks following treatment or dietary intervention to help monitor changes in fermentation patterns and symptom response.
